Lowline Angus • Tarentaise • Composite Cattle

T. Jarrod (TJ) and Krystal Stenger are dedicated to raising grass fed Lowline Angus and Lowline Angus composite cattle that excel on pasture. Located near Evansville, Indiana, we are just north of Morganfield, in western Kentucky. Our cattle are pastured less than 10 miles of Indiana & Illinois and less than 100 miles from Missouri & Tennessee. We are continuing a 200+ year old family tradition raising livestock, the 7th generation to raise beef cattle in Union County, Kentucky. Our goal is to produce extremely low input grass fed cattle, that will raise more pounds of high quality beef per acre, as naturally and organically as possible. Our composite Lowline cattle work tremendously for grass fed beef production. J&K Livestock was a founding member of the Eastern Lowline Angus Association (TJ served 2 terms as President) & we belong to the American Lowline Registry. We have been in contact with the American Grass Fed Association & we plan to become members this year. The Stenger family are longtime members of the American Tarentaise Association (Stenger's Bluegrass Tarentaise). Visitors are always welcome when advance notice is given. LOWLINE ANGUS SEMEN FOR SALE

Doc Holliday (aka "Doc") was an extremely popular Lowline Angus bull and he sired exceptional calves all across the country. Despite a very limited number of his offspring that actually entered a show ring, Doc Holliday's offspring won "Supreme Champion", "Grand Champion", "Junior National Champion" (2012 Junior Nationals) & several other banners & other awards at Lowline Shows from the west coast to the east coast. Doc Holliday won Grand Champion "Get of Sire" at the highly competitive 2010 NAILE Eastern National Lowline Show & the judge raved about the consistency of his offpsring. Doc Holliday was massive, extremely sound, and sired show winning phenotypes that work exceptionally well for grass finishing. J&K Livestock would like to congratulate Larmie Coffey, Stillwater, Oklahoma, for winning JUNIOR NATIONAL GRAND CHAMPION FULLBLOOD FEMALE, at the 2012 American Lowline Junior Nationals, with a Doc Holliday daughter (pictured to the left). The Coffey's are one of several who purchased Doc Holliday semen directly from J&K Livestock & then went on to raise show champions.
