T. Jarrod (TJ) and Krystal Stenger raise low input, grass fed Lowline X Tarentaise cattle are able to excel on mediocre quality, fescue dominant pasture. We are located in western KY, near Evansville, Indiana, only a few miles south of Indiana & Illinois. We are within 3 hours of St Louis, Missouri & Nashville / Brentwood, Tennessee. We are continuing a 200+ year old family tradition of raising livestock, the 7th generation to raise beef cattle in Union County, Kentucky, just north of Morganfield. Our focus is on producing extremely low input grass fed cattle, that will raise more pounds of high quality beef per acre, as naturally and organically as possible. Our composite Lowline X Tarentaise cattle work tremendously well for grass fed beef production. J&K Livestock was a founding member of the Eastern Lowline Angus Association (TJ served 2 terms as President & another term as Interim President) & we belong to the American Lowline Registry. We are in the process of obtaining USDA approval to use the "100% Grass Fed" designation on our USDA retail label. The Stenger family are longtime members of the American Tarentaise Association (Stenger's Bluegrass Tarentaise). Visitors are always welcome when advance notice is given. We would love to meet you and show you our incredibly efficient genetics, stacked for superior grass fed beef production.
Please visit our COMPOSITE PAGE for more information about our Composite Cattle. Also, please visit our ABOUT US / ABOUT LOWLINES PAGE for more information about us, our cattle, and a brief history of Lowline cattle.
Pictured is our nephew, Coy Divine, with his cousin Libby. Coy and Libby won 1st place in the Lead Line Class at the 2008 Union County Fair. Congrats Coy & Libby! Look for Coy, a 8th generation cattleman, in the show ring soon.

Doc Holliday (aka "Doc") was an extremely popular Lowline Angus bull and he sired exceptional calves all across the country. Despite a limited number of his offspring actually entering a show ring, Doc Holliday's offspring won "Supreme Champion", "Grand Champion", "Junior National Champion" (2012 Lowline Junior Nationals) & several other banners & other awards at Lowline Shows from the west coast to the east coast! Doc Holliday won Grand Champion "Get of Sire" at the highly competitive 2010 NAILE Eastern National Lowline Show & the judge raved about the consistency of his offpsring. Doc Holliday was massive, extremely sound, and sired show winning phenotypes that work exceptionally well for grass finishing. Doc Holliday's parents both won Grand Champion at the Royal Brisbane Show. Please visit our LOWLINE ANGUS SIRES PAGE or our SEMEN FOR SALE PAGE or our DOC HOLLIDAY page for more information. Unfortunately, Doc Holliday is now deceased. Since his semen is extremely limited & none of ours is currently at a shipping facility, it is currently unavailable. We were temporarily sold out of his very popular son, RKR Holiday (see him below), but that semen is now available.
*** We now have RKR Holiday & J&K MR T semen (+70 Marbling & -1.0 tenderness!) available for sale. *** Due to high demand, we had completely sold out of Doc Holliday's fullblood Lowline son, RKR Holiday. However, his semen is again available and ready to ship. RKR Holiday was the Reserve National Champion Junior Bull Calf at Denver and he was also the Louisville Champion Junior Bull Calf. Paternal half brothers & sisters have claimed "Supreme", "Grand", "Junior National Champion", "Reserve Grand" & NUMEROUS OTHER banners & awards. Like his sire, we expect RKR Holiday to produce show winning phenotypes & excellent grass fed beef. RKR Holiday's Tru-Marbling DNA score (an impressive +74) is a whopping 60 points higher than the average Tru-Marbling DNA score for animals that graded "USDA Prime" on the rail, out of 14,000+ head of feedlot animals tested from 6 different feedlots! This fullblood Lowline Angus bull has the DNA to sire highly marbled beef. RKR Holiday is co-owned with Randy & Holly Prosise, Rainy Knob Ranch, Loudon, Tennessee. Semen priced with the Commercial Beef Producer in mind. Contact us (J&K Livestock), Morganfield, Kentucky, to place your semen order. firstname.lastname@example.org
